Fracture of aircraft titanium alloys under high-frequency loading

چکیده

Abstract The paper is devoted to the problem of fatigue failure two-phase titanium alloy VT3-1 under action high-frequency cyclic loading. Samples for tests were made from compressor disk aviation engine D30-Ku installed on Tupolev Tu-154 planes. Repeated alternating loading was carried out by displacements small amplitude at 20 kHz, coinciding with first harmonic longitudinal elastic vibrations sample. Analysis specimen fracture surfaces shows predominant subsurface fracture. areas nucleation allows identifying elements microstructure associated crack nucleation. results study can be used in interpretation scenarios structural operation. Increasing resource products such loads possible through use damping layers or tapes, where possible.
